Edit to Summer Newsletter.

HelpHi it has been pointed out that the date published in the Summer Newsletter for the Triway Battle being held at Highworth was incorrect.

The date should have read 10th April 2012 (not 10th February as published).

Sorry for any confusion... Kevin

Food for thought.

I have recently returned from a one day photographic course, and it got me thinking.

The course was excellent so no complaints there, but it cost me £89.00 plus the petrol cost to get to Milton Keynes and back, so all in all something over £100, and this was for 6 hours of the instructors time.

When this is compared with the weekly instruction and advice given as part of the Camera Club's membership fee it made me realise what value our members are getting for their £40.

Just think about it, 2 hours per week for say 35 weeks that amounts to 70 hours of enjoyable instruction for £40, or putting it another way less than £0.60 per hour. What did my course cost me, something over £16.00 per hour...... no contest!

September is just around the corner, see you then.

Syd.
