It’s not just
for experts
But for anybody who takes pictures, with whatever kind of camera.
Some members do their own processing, using a computer or a
darkroom; many others use commercial processors and get great
results.
Pictures are what it’s all about - whether you enjoy taking them,
creating them or just looking at other people’s. With a programme of
weekly meetings covering more than nine months of the year, there
are plenty of opportunities to think about pictures.
There are competitions (both within the club and against other clubs
in the area) - an ideal chance to get feedback on your work from
experts or just hear what they have to say about other people’s
pictures. There are evenings with interesting talks and
presentations, filled with inspiring images. At other meetings we
engage in practical activities and discussion of work between
members.
If there’s something that you’d like to participate in, that isn’t
on the programme, come along and tell us. We’re keen to hear new
ideas and get new members.
Cirencester
Camera Club is affiliated to the Western Counties Photographic
Federation, which provides the opportunity for members to obtain
nationally recognised qualifications (CPAGB etc.).
The subscription rates are kept very low and are all-inclusive -
there is no meeting charge . In particular, we have set a very low
rate for younger members, which represent excellent value for money.
Come along and give us a try!
We meet at 19:30 every Monday, from September until
May, at the Bingham Hall, King Street, Cirencester.
New members and visitors are always very welcome.
